Today I had a meeting with @Johann Furmann, and we brainstormed about content distribution. And I took some points to achive my goal of finding the full-time Salesforce position.
Content Distribution
We discussed more than 3, but I want to focus (or maybe it issue with my limited memory) on those:
1. Level
The level of expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem. I have about 7+ years of CRM implementation experience and did about 50+ CRM implementations for a Small-medium business company with non-Salesforce software.
But with Salesforce, I’m about 1+ year now, passed three certs (my background helped me a lot). Currently work for a part-time company (and my main CRM business still works, but I’m looking to move to SF for 100%) for Enterprise (or something about that level of clients).
2. Time
April 2021. That’s where we are now, with our numbers of subscribers everywhere and so on. It’s better to work with the numbers I already have (not wish, but have).
3. Audience
People who will benefit from us. In my situation, there are
A) People in the same position with the same goal and level of expertise as I’m.
B) HR & HM will benefit from finding the candidate to fill the Salesforce position inside their company.
Platforms
With understanding what I said above, it’s excellent to know where to put our content.
LinkedIn (video + text)
Why LinkedIn? The audience who is looking for that level of expertise is already there, and this is the right time to show them your valuable (for them) content.
YouTube/Podcasts
In my situation, it’s good to use it as an archive (@Johann Furmann gave me the “archive” idea – and I like it)
Other Media
My blog – it’s good to start using it as an archive and in the future as a tool.
